Welcome to the Southeast North Carolina Council of Governments Regional Trails Plan Website. The purpose of this plan is to develop a framework for connecting communities in southeastern North Carolina to natural and cultural resources, increasing public access to trails and recreation, and enhancing quality of life for residents and visitors.

The project team will use this website, and other tools, to engage with the four councils of governments (COG), Metropolitan and Rural Planning Organizations, cities and towns, non-profits and advocacy organizations, residents, and visitors in the study area. Please share your comments or questions with us and help us understand your vision for trails and greenways in southeast North Carolina.
